Edit New Years Eve 2010

Posted on Fri 31st Dec 2010

There is traditionally a New Years Eve concert at the Hilltop stage above the Woodford Festival village. We were blessed with the best sky of the festival - no rain! Dya Sing and friends treated us to a delightful performance. I recorded it and will post it here once I have worked out how to do it.

I went to the sunrise concert also (sleep schmeep). That began at 4am in drizzle in the dark and ended an hour or so later in the drizzle with a grey sky but no evidence of the actual sun. The performance finished with Kacey Patrick (of Stringman Sassy) doing an amazing impersonation of a Magpie's Dawn Chorus - wow just wow - I deeply regret missing see them perform at the festival!
